Fieldwork + Herbaria + Long-Term Ecological Data

I am a current PhD student at the University of New Mexico under the NSF EGFP Resilience Innovation Fellowship. I am co-supervised by Dr. Diana Gamba and Dr. Ken Whitney. My passion for plants stems from their diverse life strategies, unexplored ecological interactions, and beauty. Through my research, I link long-term ecological data with historical herbarium records to determine how plants change through time. I am interested in floristics, phenology, plant-plant interactions, herbarium collections, and ethnobotany. My fieldwork has allowed me to explore the Texas Edwards Plateau, the Colorado Southern Rocky Mountains, and now, New Mexico!
